Job Description

In the role of Senior Migration Consultant, the successful candidate will take on a leadership position within the Professional Services group. This position requires providing advanced migration solutions for clients implementing Veeva’s Vault R&D applications and the Vault Platform in the life sciences sector.

The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring client success and imparting strategic insights related to migration strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Offer expert guidance on Vault R&D migration implementations, ensuring effective content and data transfer from older systems to Vault.
• Educate clients on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process.
• Mentor fellow data migration specialists, enhancing their capabilities and knowledge in migration best practices.
• Build and contribute to a comprehensive knowledge base aimed at streamlining the migration process.
• Collaborate on project scoping for Veeva's R&D product suite.

Required Skills

Candidates must possess specific qualifications, including:

• 7+ years of document/content migration experience with enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint, etc.
• 7+ years of database migration experience with enterprise-level systems like SAP, Salesforce, PeopleSoft etc.
• A solid background in customer-facing technical consulting with successful interaction at the executive level.
• Proven leadership ability in mentoring and guiding team members.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and XML for technical implementation.

Moreover, candidates must be located in and authorized to work in Canada or the United States, with the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Experience
