Job Summary

A significant part of this role will entail management reporting functions, and the successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Stagwell Core Brand Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation: The candidate will be required to undertake thorough reconciliations to ensure that all accounts are accurately represented.

  • General Ledger Analysis: Preparing general ledger account analyses by monitoring transactions and ensuring accuracy within the GL accounts will be crucial.

  • Revenue Recognition Processes: The candidate must maintain revenue recognition processes and manage schedules associated with revenue, Work in Progress (WIP), and deferred revenue.

  • Bank Reconciliation: Collaborating with Staff Accountants to ensure accurate monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts.

  • Month-End Accruals: The Senior Accountant will assist in aggregating and recording month-end expense accruals, an essential function for financial reporting accuracy.

  • Journal Entries: Preparing month-end journal entries is a routine responsibility of this role, ensuring financial statements reflect the true financial position.

  • Intercompany Transactions: The management and reconciliation of all intercompany transactions will also fall under the purview of this position.
