  • Preparing and analyzing pro forma as well as historical financial statements and participating in valuation model building.
  • Creating and maintaining key spreadsheets that contribute to the preparation of projected financial statements, with a focus on manipulating large data sets for accurate model outputs.
  • Participating in overall analysis of proposed projects from both financial and operational perspectives.
  • Supporting the Business Development team with market assessments and profitability analysis of all organic growth attempts.
  • Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes for organic growth locations.
  • Building detailed support reports for regional and corporate departments.
  • Contributing to the senior management reporting package specifically aimed at organic growth.
  • Acting as a liaison across various areas of the company, providing timely insights and proactive feedback.
  • Assisting the finance team with budgeting and additional ad hoc projects as requested.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, with an MBA being highly desirable.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and budgeting is essential. Accounting-related experience is also a plus, while healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Significant experience with direct interactions with Senior Management, including roles such as CFO, SVP, VP, and Senior Director.

Technical Skills

the individual must demonstrate strong technical skills including:

  • Proficiency in Excel with a strong understanding of Business Intelligence tools.
  • Experience with budgeting systems, preferably the Cognos software is required.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is also advantageous.
