Telent is seeking a Technician Level 4 for their Engineering Team, located in London, UK. This is a part-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work amongst experienced technicians in maintaining critical infrastructure systems, such as CCTV, Public Address systems, and Station Information and Security Systems (SISS). The job requires working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, from 10pm to 6am, based out of the Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.
As a Technician Level 4, the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Duty Manager and will have a range of responsibilities, including:
Assisting qualified technicians in rectifying malfunctions in CCTV, Public Address/Voice Activation systems, Public Help Points, and CIS screens.
Completing planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
Maintaining SISS assets and ensuring that station communication faults are reported and resolved.
Using field IT equipment to provide real-time data on maintenance and repairs.
Collaborating with the Telent Service Centre for tasking, updates on faults, and completion of tasks.
This role is pivotal in contributing to the effectiveness of the team and ensuring that all technical systems operate optimally and are compliant with network standards.
Candidates are expected to possess the following key skills:
A background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
Proficiency in O365 packages and basic IT knowledge.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to fault-find.
A full UK Driving Licence is required for this role.
