Role Description

The primary responsibilities of the SOC 2 Associate Manager include, but are not limited to, executing and managing client engagements related to various SOC examinations, HIPAA assessments, and other security frameworks. Key duties involve:

  1. Auditing services focused on security, compliance, and attestation.
  2. Conducting day-to-day activities related to IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, and SOC for cybersecurity).
  3. Assessing the design and effectiveness of technology controls.

  5. Identifying performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients.
  6. Engaging and maintaining communication with clients and team members.

  9. Providing weekly status updates to management.
  10. Reporting potential issues proactively.
  11. Training new staff within the IT audit team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

While not mandatory, candidates with active certifications or those on the path towards obtaining certifications such as CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA will be preferred.
