As the Business Development Manager at Patchstack, you will be responsible for various strategic initiatives:
Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance the company's market presence.
Sales Process Management: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiations.
Account Management: Expand relationships with key accounts to facilitate upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to fine-tune your Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and optimize sales messaging.
Outbound Prospecting: Lead strategic outbound efforts to connect with key decision-makers, generating new business avenues.
Collaborative Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns, create sales enablement content, and host events to boost demand generation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product teams to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and product developments.
Metrics Management: Manage your sales pipeline using Hubspot, ensuring accurate forecasts and data for informed decision-making.
Brand Representation: Act as the company representative at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness.
Sales Process Improvement: Contribute to refining existing sales processes and documentation to improve overall efficiency.
To qualify for the BDM position at Patchstack, candidates must have:
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS/PaaS sales or business development. Experience in Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), or security solutions is advantageous.
A strong history of exceeding revenue targets and closing deals with mid-to-enterprise level clients.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with a consultative sales approach.
Familiarity with sales automation tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Analytical ability to adjust go-to-market strategies based on market trends.
Comfort with remote work, coupled with occasional travel for events or key meetings.
