The role of Annotator includes a variety of responsibilities that ensure the precise and efficient transformation of consultation data. Primarily, you will be writing General Practice consultation summaries using a defined annotation protocol that includes identifying concepts and coding terms according to medical terminologies. Personal feedback will be provided by reviewers to aid in your development. Your work will involve ensuring the correctness of information structure, as well as checking the spelling and grammar of the text. You’ll need to be precise in ensuring the accuracy and relevance of information, particularly concerning pathologies and symptoms.
Moreover, you will gain insights into the mechanisms involved in developing and training AI models within the healthcare setting, gaining familiarity with various consultation methods. Part of your responsibility will also involve sharing experiences and knowledge with fellow students within the program to foster a collaborative learning environment.
Doctolib is looking for candidates who are at least in their 1st year of General Practice specialization, having completed the Praktisches Jahr in General Practice. A solid understanding of General Practice consultations is essential, alongside the ability to synthesize and condense information effectively. Attention to detail and rigor is paramount, as well as prior experience in note-taking during consultations.
Candidates should have a strong command of German and a good understanding of English to facilitate clear communication with the team manager. This is a freelance position, allowing for remote work. Candidates must be available for at least 8 hours per week, continuing for 4 months or potentially longer. The anticipated start date for this role is January 2025, with compensation offered at 50€/hour.
