About the Role

As the Director of HR & Employee Development, your leadership will encompass various facets of human resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, culture development, and employee engagement. A substantial aspect of this position will involve developing and implementing strategies that promote employee growth, career progression, and leadership development, all within a fully remote environment. Success in this role requires prior experience in engaging employees and functional leaders across different countries and time zones, fostering a connected, motivated, and supported workforce. You'll collaborate closely with company leadership to build a scalable HR strategy that aligns with Orchestry's values and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. HR Strategy & Compliance

    • Develop and refine HR policies and procedures aligned with a fully remote and high-growth SaaS environment.
    • Optimize HR processes for efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
    • Ensure adherence to employment laws across Canada.
    • Implement HR technology solutions for streamlined operations and reporting.
  2. Culture & Employee Experience

    • Design and execute strategies to promote a cohesive culture within a remote workforce.
    • Create engagement programs to boost team collaboration and employee satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with leadership on initiatives that reinforce company values and morale.
  3. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

    • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
    • Guarantee an effective onboarding experience that prepares employees for success.
    • Work alongside hiring managers to devise talent strategies in line with business needs.
  4. Employee Development

    • Launch learning and development programs that support employee upskilling and career advancement.
    • Establish frameworks for career pathing and leadership development.
    • Train managers on performance coaching and team development strategies.
    • Introduce opportunities for professional advancement through training and education reimbursements.
    • Foster career growth opportunities for high-potential employees.

What We're Looking For
