While the position can be predominantly remote, candidates residing within commutable distance to their offices in New York City, Tempe, and Los Angeles are expected to come in at least two days a week.
Prospective employees must reside in certain state locations, including but not limited to California, Arizona, and New York, with a total list of accepted states subject to change.
The role offers competitive compensation, with the base salary varying depending on location. In states mentioned, such as California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington, the salary range is between $98,400 and $129,150 per year. For all other locations, it ranges from $88,560 to $116,235 per year. Additionally, associates will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
A Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience in a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and corporate governance, focusing on compliance.
At least 1 year of experience working with remote teams, demonstrating an understanding of legislative requirements affecting employment policies.
Practical knowledge of various employment legislation including EEOC, OSHA, and FLSA with a proven background in guiding teams on compliance matters.
HR certifications (such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP) are advantageous.
Familiarity with Workday or similar HR software tools.
Experience with Visa and Immigration programs as well as Health and Safety regulations.
Previous work experience in tech or startup environments will be looked upon favorably.
