Job Position: VP of Engineering

As the VP of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading and scaling Lago's engineering organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and scaling the engineering team to support a growing customer base and an expanding technical footprint.
• Defining and driving Lago's technical vision, engineering culture, and organizational structure.
• Architecting Lago’s event-driven, microservices-based platform to effectively manage billing at scale.
• Ensuring the security, resilience, and performance of Lago's invoicing and metering infrastructure.
• Collaborating with Product teams to design and implement a high-velocity roadmap aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and retaining elite engineering talent.
• Developing scalable processes for code quality, release management, on-call duties, and incident management.

Required Skills

To be considered for the VP of Engineering role at Lago, candidates must possess:
