As a Senior Full-stack Rails Engineer at UserEvidence, your main responsibilities will include the following:
Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance features for the Ruby on Rails application.
Collaborating with cross-functional team members to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
Optimizing application performance, including database queries and overall system architecture.
Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to less experienced team members.

At least two years of professional experience working on a Ruby on Rails application.
A strong background in writing accessible, scalable, maintainable, and performant code.
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, such as Vue, React, or Angular.

Proficiency in writing complex queries for relational databases; UserEvidence primarily uses PostgreSQL.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment and communicate effectively in public channels.
Flexibility to work in US time zones collaboratively, although applicants do not need to reside in those regions—just the ability to coordinate with teams accordingly is required.
