The position of Total Rewards Lead, Variable Incentives is critical, focusing on the design, maintenance, and execution of Flipp's sales compensation and variable incentive programs. In this role, you will:
Sales Incentive Design: You are expected to lead and continuously improve sales compensation and variable incentive programs to boost revenue generation. Ensuring scalability and motivational strategy alignment is crucial. Collaborating with teams across Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations will be part of your responsibilities to design commission structures, SPIFFs (Sales Performance Incentive Fund), and other bonus metrics reflective of performance expectations.
Variable Incentive Design: In this capacity, you’ll develop and enhance variable pay programs, which include performance-based pay, both short-term and long-term incentives, ensuring they align with Flipp's business objectives and values.
Program Implementation & Governance: This role involves overseeing the complete rollout of newly designed or modified sales incentive plans. You'll handle stakeholder training, communication, and change management procedures, ensuring that all initiatives are implemented smoothly. Using data visualization techniques and dashboards will be fundamental to governance and to enhance understanding among employees.
Market Benchmarking and Analysis: Conducting competitive market analyses is necessary to stay updated with the latest compensation trends and best practices. This enables Flipp's offerings to remain attractive while evaluating internal equity and pay positioning.
To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:
A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards or Compensation roles, with no less than 3 years focused specifically on sales incentive or variable pay design.
A proven ability to influence senior leaders and work collaboratively across numerous functions (including Sales, Finance, Legal).
Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing both global and regional sales compensation structures.
Strong analytical skills coupled with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and thorough technical knowledge of HR tools (HRIS, Compensation Software, Incentive Software, Data Visualization Platforms).
