Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Technical Product Manager include:
Internal Product Ownership
Define and evolve roadmaps for key internal systems, such as identity management, deployment tooling, monitoring dashboards, and ticketing platforms.
Stakeholder Enablement
Collaborate with non-technical teams, including claims, member services, and provider relations, to clearly understand their pain points and translate these into actionable technical requirements.
Compliance Awareness
Ensure operational teams stay aligned with compliance, security, and regulatory standards without overwhelming them. Design workflows that inherently support compliance.
Process Optimization
Enhance the processes through which teams access and utilize IT services and tools, aiming to improve incident response procedures.
Infuse a product mindset into documentation and process design to enhance user experience.
Collaboration Across Functions
Act as a liaison between IT, DevOps, and business goals to ensure alignment in technical initiatives and day-to-day workflows, enabling smooth operations.
Prioritization & Communication
Serve as a central hub for feedback, issue triage, and prioritization. Clearly articulate tradeoffs and timelines to a diverse group of stakeholders.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience as a Product Manager or Program Manager, specifically with internal tools and service operations.
A high level of empathy for non-technical users and a proven ability to listen and advocate for their needs.
Knowledge of regulated environments, such as healthcare or finance, and the ability to collaborate effectively with compliance and security teams.
Strong technical skills with familiarity in internal tools and development platforms. A solid understanding of IT support functions is necessary, though you don’t need to be an engineer.
Capability to manage complex scenarios, build trust, and navigate shifting priorities, ensuring progress even when guidance is needed.
