Job Title and Role

The position available is for a Clinical Lead, who will be instrumental in overseeing the clinical safety of Apollo’s home healthcare services. As Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care to clients. Key Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the operational aspects of home healthcare services to ensure high standards of care.
  • Providing leadership and support to healthcare teams, including Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Conducting regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain and improve standards of care.
  • Offering training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for clinical staff.
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients, families, and external healthcare providers.
  • Monitoring and reporting on clinical performance metrics and outcomes.

Due to an upcoming digitalization project scheduled to begin in 2025, the Clinical Lead will also play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of this initiative. The transition involves moving from a paper-based system to digital care records, and your duties will include supporting data migration, training Clinical Nurse Specialists, and becoming a Superuser of the new system.

Employment Details

This role is a full-time, permanent position and will be primarily office-based. The workplace can be located at the company's offices in Heywood, Wolverhampton, or Peterborough. Furthermore, there will be the flexibility to work from home one day per week. Candidates must hold a UK Driving Licence, must have access to a vehicle, and should be located within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned offices. Routine out-of-hours escalation support will also be required on a rota basis, and there will be weekly travel across the company's network of offices.

Required Qualifications and Skills
