Position of the Offer

The role of Clinical Lead involves overseeing the safety and quality of healthcare services provided in clients’ own homes. This office-based role allows for one day of work from home per week at any of the locations in Heywood, Wolverhampton, or Peterborough.

Responsibilities

The candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities that include:

• Oversight of clinical operations in home healthcare services, ensuring high care standards for clients.
• Implementation of clinical policies and procedures to meet compliance requirements.
• Conducting regular audits and quality assurance checks to enhance and maintain care standards.
• Providing mentorship and training opportunities for the clinical workforce, including Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
• Collaborating effectively with clients, families, and external healthcare providers for enhanced care delivery.
• Monitoring and reporting on clinical performance metrics to assess and improve outcomes.

In addition to these routine duties, the Clinical Lead will play a crucial part in an upcoming digitalisation project set to begin in 2025, transitioning from paper-based records to digital care records. This will include engaging in data migration and providing training for Clinical Nurse Specialists in the field.

Required Skills

To be considered for the Clinical Lead position, candidates are required to hold the following qualifications and skills:

• A Registered Nurse (adult’s or children’s) status with a valid NMC PIN.
• Extensive experience in a clinical leadership role, ideally in a home healthcare or comparable environment.
• Proficiency with healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a strong desire to stay updated with clinical advancements.

Personal qualities such as attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability in a changing healthcare landscape are essential to succeed in this role.

Salary

The salary for this role is competitive, ranging from £48,000 to £53,000 per annum. In addition to the salary, a bonus structure and an attractive benefits package will be offered, which can serve as an additional incentive for potential candidates.

Additional Requirements

Candidates will need to hold a UK Driving Licence, have access to a vehicle, and reside within a commutable distance of Wolverhampton, Peterborough, or Heywood.
