As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, the responsibilities include:
Conducting ongoing functional testing of web-based applications as well as document production software.
Assuming ownership of testing processes for multiple customer projects, ensuring all enhancements and defects are thoroughly examined.
Developing detailed test plans and creating associated test cases to fully evaluate application functionality.
Reporting, tracking, and analyzing defects to maintain product quality.
Maintaining open lines of communication by promptly updating management on testing progress and any challenges encountered.
Providing 2nd tier customer support as needed to resolve issues or questions raised by customers.
Actively participating in day-to-day testing activities and contributing ideas to improve testing processes and overall product quality.
To qualify for this role, the following skills and experience are essential:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Proven understanding of software quality assurance fundamentals, including test case creation, test planning, and documentation.
Strong communication skills are necessary for relaying complex concepts and findings to various stakeholders.
The candidate must possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Problem-solving and analytical skills are imperative, alongside the ability to prioritize multiple assignments based on business needs.
Familiarity with the Waterfall development model is preferred.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
Experience working with confidential and regulated data like PHI, PII, or PCI.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Atlassian JIRA and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
