  • Logging service desk interactions in a ticketing system.
  • Providing first-level technical support for a range of common issues regarding desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, software, and network problems.
  • Escalating issues that cannot be resolved at your level to the appropriate teams.
  • Conducting follow-up activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in training, certification, and projects as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support, ideally in a service desk environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and basic network troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with non-technical users.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Work Schedule and Pay

The position is a full-time role with a schedule of 3rd shift, specifically from Saturday to Wednesday (Thursday & Friday off), operating from 12:30 AM to 9:00 AM EST. The pay for this position is offered at $20/hour, providing a competitive salary within the industry.
