In this role, you will:

Explore new technologies and develop integrations with third-party solutions.
Design technical solutions that are robust, secure, and maintainable based on established development standards.
Create technical documentation, contribute to department standards, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
8+ years of backend engineering experience focused on Java/J2EE and associated JVM technologies.
Proficiency in the Spring ecosystem, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration.
Demonstrated experience in designing technical solutions derived from business requirements with the ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions.
Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
Familiarity with designing and managing REST APIs and understanding of HTTP protocols.
Experience in implementing web application security best practices and a strong foundation in SQL and RDBMS (preferably Oracle or MySQL).
Proficiency in using Git, modern IDEs, and collaborative development workflows.
Basic knowledge of Linux environments and experience working in Agile teams.
While not obligatory, the following skills would be advantageous:
Experience developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as AngularJS or equivalent.
Previous involvement with DevOps tools like Jenkins or Ansible.
Knowledge of message queue systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience working with Financial Services organizations, understanding the intricacies involved.
Proficiency in translating high-level solutions into functional specifications.
