To qualify for the Senior Quality Engineer position, candidates must possess the following skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science/Applications, or a related field.
Proficiency in coding with Java and/or other mobile languages.
Experience with Software QA methodologies and approaches, including both black box and automated testing.
Knowledge and experience in writing test cases and automating tests, including and not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency testing.
Relevant work experience in software development and/or test automation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership/mentorship experience.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered beneficial:
Experience in Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
Familiarity with Cypress and SQL.
Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of modern best practices for software development, especially in a SaaS environment.
Experience with Mobile Testing and Automation tools like Appium, XCUI, Espresso, and KIF.
Understanding of testing within the Health Sciences and Life Sciences sectors.
The base pay for the Senior Quality Engineer role is competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $165,000 CAD.
