Key Responsibilities

People Operations Compliance

In this role, the Senior People Operations Generalist will take ownership of core People Operations processes, policies, and programs. They will ensure these are optimized for efficiency and provide a great employee experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries, managing requests through the internal help desk system.
  • Improving onboarding and offboarding processes. This involves leading new hire onboarding sessions and exit interviews to ensure a seamless experience for new employees and managers in the organization.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data security protocols.
  • Keeping up to date with global employment laws and regulations, proactively addressing any necessary compliance adjustments.
  • Assisting in launching and managing mandatory training related to compliance, including programs on anti-harassment, and discrimination policies.

Performance Management and Engagement

The Generalist will lead the annual performance management process, overseeing the review cycle and ensuring alignment with business goals. Specific tasks include:

  • Coordinating performance reviews and managing employee engagement surveys, using feedback to develop actionable insights in collaboration with People Partners.
  • Supporting the organization in creating a culture of ongoing feedback and ensuring effective performance management systems are in place.

Benefits and Leave Management

In terms of benefits and leave management, the Senior People Operations Generalist acts as a key contact for benefits-related issues. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Leaves and Accommodations program and ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Handling administration of leave tracking through the relevant systems, conducting meetings to support return-to-work strategies, and keeping records in line with compliance requirements.
  • Managing the Benefit Administration System and assisting with Workers’ Compensation management.

General Team Support

The successful candidate will provide proactive and operational support to People Partners across various HR functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading people-related projects and initiatives, including workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Becoming proficient in people data tools such as Paylocity, Culture Amp, and Visier, to aid in making data-informed decisions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve employee engagement practices.
