Role Overview

The Senior People Lead position at Trellis seeks an emerging leader dedicated to enhancing how the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Working closely with senior and functional leadership, the selected professional will define and execute a People strategy tailored to the unique needs of different teams across the organization. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Collaborate with multiple departments including engineering, analytics, and consumer operations to build a comprehensive People strategy.

  • Be the subject matter expert on People-related compliance, managing day-to-day operations efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in a startup or growth stage business.
  • First-hand experience in building a People organization focused on rapid growth, ideally in a setting with a dual-track structure (corporate + agency).
  • Strategic thinking with an outcome-oriented approach, aware of how the People function contributes real value to business.
  • The ability to take ambiguous problems, create actionable plans, and execute them effectively for multiple weeks at a time.
  • Skills in adaptability and empathy to build strong rapport within diverse teams.
  • A positive energy and demeanor, contributing to being the promotional face of Trellis both internally and externally.
  • A low ego along with a readiness to take on hands-on tasks when necessary.
