Cultural Promotion: Work closely with the broader People team to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring that employees are engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach company goals.
Talent Management Execution: Help implement core Talent Management processes, including performance calibration, compensation, talent reviews, and succession planning.
Data Analysis: Analyze people-related data and trends to deliver actionable insights that drive business decision-making and preemptively address potential challenges.
Change Management: Partner with leadership to manage organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during transformation periods by understanding employee needs and managing resistance.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Play a key role in developing and executing DEI strategies, ensuring an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued.
Affirm is looking for candidates who bring a wealth of experience and expertise. The following qualifications are desired:
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in people-related roles, including at least 3+ years as a People Business Partner or in a comparable role. Prior experience supporting the Engineering function is a plus.
Coaching Skills: Demonstrable experience in coaching leaders on performance management and navigating employee relations issues.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to cultivate relationships as a trusted advisor to leadership team members.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
