The Senior Migration Consultant's key responsibilities include:
Providing subject matter expertise on Vault R&D migration implementation, which encompasses migrating document content and object data from legacy systems to Vault.
Advising customers on the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, ensuring a seamless transition to new systems.
Mentoring Veeva Data Migration Specialists on best practices and migration activities.
Contributing to the Professional Services knowledge base, thereby enhancing the migration program offered by Veeva.
Providing guidance on migration tool development related to the ETL process.
Assisting in project scoping estimates specific to the Vault R&D product suite.
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
7+ years of experience in document and content migration using enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, and SharePoint.
7+ years of experience in database migration involving enterprise software systems like SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and others.
7+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience, showcasing a strong track record of interfacing with senior management and executives.
Leadership experience that includes mentoring team members effectively.
Proficiency in working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
An ability to travel up to 10%.
Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada is mandatory.
While not required, the following skills could enhance a candidate's application:
