Responsibilities

The Senior Migration Consultant's key responsibilities include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise on Vault R&D migration implementation, which encompasses migrating document content and object data from legacy systems to Vault.

  • Advising customers on the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, ensuring a seamless transition to new systems.

  • Mentoring Veeva Data Migration Specialists on best practices and migration activities.

  • Contributing to the Professional Services knowledge base, thereby enhancing the migration program offered by Veeva.

  • Providing guidance on migration tool development related to the ETL process.

  • Assisting in project scoping estimates specific to the Vault R&D product suite.

Required Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

  • 7+ years of experience in document and content migration using enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, and SharePoint.

  • 7+ years of experience in database migration involving enterprise software systems like SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and others.

  • 7+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience, showcasing a strong track record of interfacing with senior management and executives.
