The Senior Migration Consultant will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to:
Providing subject matter expertise on Vault R&D migration implementations, particularly focusing on migrating document content and object data from legacy systems.
Advising customers regarding the extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
Mentoring Veeva Data Migration Specialists on best practices related to migration activities.
Contributing to the company's Professional Services knowledge base to enhance the migration program.
Guiding the development of migration tools that assist the ETL process and assist in project scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite.
To be eligible for this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Over 7 years of experience in document and content migration utilizing various enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, and SharePoint.
More than 7 years of experience with database migration in enterprise software environments including systems like SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and others.
At least 7 years of customer-facing technical consulting experience with a proven track record of engaging with senior management and executives.
Experience leading and mentoring teams, alongside familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
An ability to travel, up to 10%, may be required.
Candidates must be both located in and legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
Having prior experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry can be advantageous. Other nice-to-have qualifications include:
Knowledge of clinical, regulatory, quality, or safety business processes.
Project management experience in enterprise software implementations.
Familiarity with GxP and software validation regulations.
Experience with migration verification processes can set candidates apart.
Veeva Systems offers competitive compensation for the Senior Migration Consultant role. The salary range is between CAD $90,000 and $185,000, which reflects the company's commitment to fair pay correlating with experience and location.
