Job Role

The Senior Migration Architect will play a pivotal role in managing migration solutions, focusing on data and document migration from various legacy systems to Vault R&D. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Provide expert guidance on Vault R&D migration, including the migration of document content and object data.
• Advise clients on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process to ensure smooth migration.
• Mentor Veeva Data Migration Specialists, sharing best practices for migration activities.
• Contribute to the knowledge base to enhance the migration program.
• Offer advice on development for migration tools linked to the ETL process.
• Assist in estimating project scopes for the Vault R&D product suite.

Required Skills

Qualified candidates must bring the following skills:

• 7+ years of experience with document/content migration in enterprise content management systems like Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint, and others.
• 7+ years of database migration experience with enterprise software systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, PeopleSoft).
• Customer-facing technical consulting experience, particularly interacting with senior management and executives.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML is required.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States or Canada and able to travel up to 10% of the time.

Desired Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous:

• Exposure to the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
• Familiarity with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes.
