As a Senior Migration Architect, you will have numerous responsibilities centered on migration solutions. Here are some of the key duties related to this position:
Lead customer migration implementations, offering expertise in data and document content migration, Vault API, Vault migration tools, and Vault Platform best practices.
Provide subject matter expertise in Vault R&D migration implementation, focusing on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes required to migrate document content and object data from legacy systems to Vault.
Mentor and guide Veeva Data Migration Specialists on migration processes and best practices, providing both his/her expertise on various technical aspects and mentoring capabilities.
Contribute to a Professional Services knowledge base and assist in developing migration programs, while also providing guidance on migration tool development necessary for the ETL process.
Participate in project scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite, ensuring project deliverables align with client expectations and company capabilities.
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet specific qualifications, including:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in document/content migration with enterprise content management systems (such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint, etc.).
7+ years of database migration experience with enterprise software systems such as SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Trackwise, Argus, and ArisGlobal.
Proven history of customer-facing technical consulting, including meetings with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert.
Experience in leading and mentoring other team members.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
Must be located in and legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada, with a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries is preferable, as well as experience with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes.
Skills in Project Management for enterprise software implementations and knowledge of GxP and software validation regulations are advantageous.
Familiarity with the migration verification process is a plus.
The compensation structure for this role is competitive. The salary range is between $90,000 - $185,000 CAD, which is structured to comply with local regulations.
