Job Overview

The role available is for a Senior Migration Consultant in the Research and Development (R&D) department. Responsibilities

As a Senior Migration Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise on the Vault R&D migration implementation, including the transference of document content and object data from older systems to Vault.
  • Advising customers on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
  • Mentoring Veeva Data Migration Specialists on migration activities and best practices to enhance the team's efficiency.
  • Contributing to the Professional Services knowledge base to build a comprehensive migration program.
  • Assisting in the project scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite.

Required Skills

To qualify for the Senior Migration Consultant position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with document/content migration within enterprise content management systems (e.g., Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint).
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with database migration in enterprise software systems (including SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Trackwise, Argus, ArisGlobal).
  • At least 7 years of customer-facing technical consulting experience.
  • A proven record of engaging with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring team members, showcasing strong leadership capabilities.
  • Knowledge of working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • The ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Legal authorization to be employed in either the United States or Canada.
