• Collaborating with Sales, Deal Desk/Sales Operations, and Legal during contract negotiations to provide guidance on deal structuring for accurate revenue recognition.
• Partnering with various cross-functional teams, such as Billing, Collections, Finance, and IT, to ensure accurate recording of all revenue agreements in the accounting systems.
• Conducting in-depth analyses for the proper accounting of complex deals with non-standard terms in line with ASC 606 guidelines.
• Overseeing customer-wise revenue variance analysis and performing monthly reconciliations of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Deferred Revenue.
• Liaising with external auditors to provide necessary documentation for quarterly reviews and audits and preparing revenue workbook support for quarterly and annual reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A CA/CPA/MBA in Finance with a minimum of 9 years of experience in revenue recognition, specifically as per ASC 606.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar financial systems.
