• Developing and implementing strategies for health equity that meet the operational needs of State Health Programs, commercial plans, and Medicare products.
• Gathering feedback from healthcare providers, members, and community organizations to shape health equity initiatives.
• Representing Centene in various health equity discussions on national, regional, and multi-plan platforms.
• Assessing operations for potential gaps in services and recommending improvements to senior management.
• Monitoring compliance with state regulations and contractual obligations while managing community advisory committees.
• Overseeing translation and interpreter services to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology, Public Health, Medical Anthropology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in government, health, or community programs, ideally within managed care.
• Strong communication skills for articulating the needs of diverse populations.
• Expertise in developing policies and programs aimed at enhancing culturally appropriate health services.
