Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve as a key contributor, supporting a program with a total contract value exceeding $2B and annual revenue above $100M, focused on delivering IT solutions to a NASA client. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting (including net bookings, revenue, and cash).

  • Collaborating with program teams to define goals, prepare budgets, and maintain estimates at completion (EAC).

  • Making recommendations for business decisions to leadership.

  • Involvement in proposal pricing and cost volume leadership, as well as enhancing relationships for program growth.

  • Driving reporting process improvements, increasing speed, consistency, and accuracy of KPI reporting.

  • Coordinating annual planning and forecasting processes, including preparing presentations for management and overseeing submissions.

  • Leading the planning and forecasting, inclusive of Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, in coordination with functional areas.

  • Preparing monthly program reports for monthly operating reviews and planning long-range financial strategies aligning with corporate objectives.

  • Creating internal reporting mechanisms to provide necessary insights to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Assisting in identifying and resolving potential accounting issues.

Required Skills

Candidates must meet the following basic qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 8-12 years of finance experience (FP&A, Pricing, Program Finance). A master’s degree may substitute for years of experience.
  • Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and general accounting, with the ability to extract data from various sources to summarize financial positions.
  • Thorough knowledge of project finance and strong problem-solving capabilities to analyze complex issues and offer solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with professionalism.
  • Experience in remote team collaboration and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong background in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including the use of formulas, v-lookups, and macros.
  • Capacity for obtaining at least Public Trust clearance.
