Job Description

Motorola Solutions is on the lookout for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer who will work remotely with a focus on managing systems hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will enhance Noggin’s capabilities while ensuring optimal performance and security in the AWS environment. Responsibilities

The core responsibilities for the Senior AWS DevOps Engineer include:

• Designing and enhancing AWS environments ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
• Developing monitoring tools aimed at early detection and troubleshooting within AWS hosted environments.
• Collaborating with product teams to ensure security and availability standards.
• Creating documentation for AWS environments for operational teams.
• Facilitating the integration and deployment of products, providing hands-on documentation and support.
• Constantly learning new technologies and advocating for improvements in process and tools.
• Managing project scopes and deployments efficiently.

This role plays a vital part in managing both the cloud infrastructure and the software deployment lifecycles, requiring collaboration with global teams and potential meetings outside standard business hours.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must meet several foundational qualifications to be successful in this position:

• A bachelor's degree in fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience.
