To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in nursing or an equivalent healthcare-related field is required.
Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan upon hire.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical nursing experience is required, although 5 years is preferred, especially in case management or managed care.
The Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from recognized organizations (AHA or ARC) are also required upon hire.
For those starting in the RN role after January 1, 2017, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) must be obtained within 7 years.
