Role: Regional Clinical Director

In the role of a fully remote Regional Clinical Director, you will become an integral part of a vibrant clinical leadership team. This position is pivotal in expanding and nurturing Knownwell's primary care and metabolic healthcare practices. It involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, leveraging their collective expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care at scale.

The director plays a crucial role in the growth and development of the non-prescriber clinical team. Additionally, you will be actively involved in the evolution of clinical programs, including dietetics, nutrition, remote patient monitoring, health coaching, nursing, pharmacy, and behavioral change.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team consisting of RDs, RNs, health coaches, pharmacists, and licensed clinical social workers. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure that patient care is inclusive, aligned with individual goals, and compliant with clinical policies and standards. Quality assurance through performance reviews, process audits, documentation oversight, and standards compliance is a significant part of the role.

Further, the role demands the development of efficient workflows, team capacity assessment, staff engagement optimization, and career pathway creation to foster team growth. You will coach the team on patient engagement, care coordination, and behavior change science while promoting a positive work culture through team-building activities and recognition programs.

Recruitment and diversity are key aspects, working in tandem with HR to align staffing strategies with organizational goals. The position also involves developing and implementing programs in nutrition, patient education, care coordination, mental and behavioral health. Integration with technology to design data-driven care models and applying project and change management principles for continuous program improvement is also essential.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should have a clinical background in dietetics, behavioral health, nursing, social work, pharmacology, or related allied health fields. Active licensure such as RD, RN, Pharm D, or LCSW is preferred. The role requires a minimum of five years of leadership experience managing interdisciplinary healthcare teams and at least two years of experience in ambulatory care settings.

Experience in a startup environment, alongside a proven ability to scale and manage clinical operations in dynamic settings, is strongly favored. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for patient-centered care, and a dedication to staying abreast of the latest developments in primary care and obesity medicine. Inclusion, compassion, and shared decision-making are core values, alongside a willingness to adopt new technologies collaboratively.

Benefits and Equal Opportunity

Knownwell offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match, PTO, and a competitive salary. The company is committed to creating a purpose-driven organization focused on impactful healthcare delivery. Knownwell fosters an inclusive, non-discriminatory work environment where diversity is celebrated, and equal opportunity is provided to all employees and applicants.

The company adheres to strict equal employment opportunity policies, prohibiting discrimination and harassment. This encompasses all employment aspects, from recruiting and hiring to compensation, training, and other employment terms.
