Job Responsibilities

  • Daily reactive maintenance of SISS and Telephony systems to promptly address any issues.

  • Undertaking both corrective and planned maintenance to ensure customer systems are functional and all relevant processes and reporting are followed.

  • Engaging in remote monitoring of all systems to proactively identify issues and implement fixes as needed.

  • Handling maintenance activities that include working on communications systems such as CCTV, Public Address (PA), Customer Information Systems (CIS), Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), Servers, and IP Networks.

The work will primarily be conducted at four designated sites across the HS1 network, including St Pancras International, Stratford International, Ebbsfleet International, and Singlewell Depot.

Required Skills

To qualify for the position of Rail Maintenance Technician, candidates must possess the following key skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with CCTV, IP Networks, EACS, CIS, and PAVA Server Environments.

  • Proven competency in IT skills, particularly with laptop and Office 365 applications.

  • Experience working within SLA-driven maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and expectations.

  • A Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory as this position may require travel between sites in London.

Working Hours and Flexibility

The position involves a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, which requires the technician to be adaptable in supporting site operations during the absence of other team members or undertaking additional necessary activities outside standard shift hours.
