Job Title and Role

Veeva Systems is actively seeking a Product Manager for Vault Registrations. The purpose of this role is to define, design, and deliver critical features for Regulatory professionals within some of the world's largest life sciences firms. The successful candidate will have a background in enterprise software product management and a knack for crafting elegant solutions to complex problems. This position is crucial in ensuring that Veeva's customers can efficiently navigate global regulatory landscapes to bring new therapies to market quickly.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Designing innovative product features that help customers manage changes that impact market-approved products and trials worldwide.
  • Authoring high-quality design specifications within an agile framework.
  • Prioritizing feature development, balancing strategic initiatives, and fulfilling customer requirements and internal technical needs.
  • Engaging with customers, professional services, strategy, and sales teams to comprehend business needs.
  • Collaborating with engineering and QA teams to ensure high-quality product feature implementation.
  • Acting as a product evangelist, becoming a subject matter expert for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Requirements

Applicants interested in this role should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a product management role.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with enterprise software products.
  • The ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the capability to deliver formal presentations.
  • Technical skills to translate business requirements into comprehensible terms for developers.

Additionally, candidates must have a solid understanding of relational databases and web technologies. This position requires candidates to be located in the Eastern Time zone or within an hour’s offset to better align with the functional demands of the position.


Desirable Skills

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in designing simple user interfaces for non-technical users managing complex business processes.
  • Background in building SaaS products and experience working on application development platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory information management within the BioPharma and/or MedTech sectors.
  • Experience in regulated software, such as Regulatory or FinTech.
  • Proven experience in remote interactions with both customers and internal teams across different geographies.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is from $75,000 to $165,000 CAD. It is important to note that this range is established to comply with local regulations and represents potential base salaries, which may vary based on experience and location. Veeva evaluates each individual's compensation package based on their unique qualifications, experience, and anticipated contributions to the company. Other compensation forms may include a variable bonus and/or stock options.
