Collaborating with Software Test Engineers to deliver comprehensive test cases and plans.
Designing system architecture using SysML.
Mentoring and guiding engineers throughout technical projects.
Completing and overseeing critical systems tasks such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), and Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA).
Supporting the software team in developing models with Simulink and MATLAB.
Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications to be successful as a Principal Systems Engineer:
A degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to lead by example.
In-depth knowledge of Functional Safety and ISO26262 standards.
Experience in testing methodologies, including Software-in-loop and Hardware-in-loop testing.
Specialist understanding of model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
Excellent communication skills, enabling clear and effective collaboration.
Experience with automotive or aerospace systems engineering processes.
Proficiency in hardware, systems, and software development tools such as SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded Coders, and DOORS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
