The principal analyst will own and develop the vision for Remote's marketing data ecosystem. Responsibilities include:

  • Next-Generation Attribution & Media Mix Modeling (MMM): Evolving and owning the architectural vision for attribution, fostering a unified view of performance marketing and organic initiatives.
  • LTV & Budget Optimization: Designing customer lifetime value models and establishing predictive churn metrics, enhancing marketing efficiency.
  • Executive Planning & Capital Allocation: Collaborating with finance and marketing leaders to inform budget allocation decisions through macroeconomic forecasting.

Global Frameworks & Data Governance

The role necessitates a focus on data governance and the establishment of global metrics which will include:

  • Developing measures for non-paid marketing initiatives like brand health and organic growth.
  • Analyzing B2B funnels to locate friction points and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Overseeing marketing data integrity, significantly impacting strategic decision-making.

Leadership & Innovation

While there will initially be no direct reports, this role will involve:

  • Mentoring senior analysts and enhancing overall team capabilities.

Required Skills

Candidates should demonstrate the following professional experience:

  • Proven history in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data science, particularly within high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in designing complex attribution frameworks, including Multi-Touch and Media Mix Modeling methodologies.
  • Skills in quantifying brand impact, including expertise in metrics like Share of Voice (SoV) and organic growth compounding.
  • Advanced technical proficiency across modern data stacks, particularly with tools like dbt, Snowflake, and automation systems like Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey technical data to C-suite executives effectively.
  • Professional fluency in English, along with a remote-first mindset focusing on asynchronous communication.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $65,750 to $184,950 USD depending on various factors, including location, skills, and experience.
