Position Overview

Responsibilities

Program Development

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative people programs that support Total Rewards, performance management, talent reviews, salary and promotion cycles, and more.
  • Engage in comprehensive analytics and reporting to assess the impact of these programs.
  • Contribute significantly to organizational performance and effectiveness through the development of tailored initiatives.

Performance Management

  • Support the design and implementation of performance management processes that encompass goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms that promote continuous professional growth and high performance among employees.

Employee Engagement

  • Utilize analytics and feedback mechanisms to assess employee experiences, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with leadership and the People Operations team to develop actionable plans aimed at increasing employee engagement across the organization.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Leverage data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of various people programs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven assessments to inform strategy adjustments and enhancements.

Systems Administration

  • Administer systems that support people programs and create comprehensive documentation, such as playbooks, to help guide the HR function effectively.

Required Skills and Background

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources, organizational development, or related fields, specifically with a focus on program management and Total Rewards.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., CHRP) is viewed as a favorable enhancement to your candidacy.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a scaling startup environment where agility, quick context-switching, and comprehensive communication are essential.
  • A strong track record of successfully designing and implementing people programs.
  • Experience developing Global Total Rewards strategies, which includes conducting market analysis and establishing salary structures.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a knack for overseeing multiple projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial for maintaining relationships with stakeholders and your team.
  • The ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HR technology in Total Rewards, HRIS, and employee surveys will be an asset.

Work Environment

Loopio operates as a remote-first workplace, with employees working flexibly from various locations, particularly within 300 kilometers of their Hub Regions including Ontario, British Columbia, and select cities in the UK and India. As the People Programs Manager, you would be required to reside in Ontario due to the time zone alignment with core working hours.
