Job Role

The position available is for a DevOps Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in architecting and managing the infrastructure backbone that supports various gaming experiences. Your responsibilities will include ensuring platform reliability and scalability. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you are expected to carry out several critical tasks:

• Design and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters while focusing on high availability, scaling, and security.

• Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts across distributed systems, ensuring thorough postmortems are conducted to enhance future performance.

• Build and sustain robust CI/CD and release pipelines utilizing tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm to ensure smooth deployment and operations across environments.

• Implement GitOps-based deployments with Argo CD to facilitate seamless and automated software releases.

• Cultivate observability and alerting strategies utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki/ELK to frequently monitor system health.

Required Skills

To qualify for this position, you will need to meet several essential criteria:

• Strong production experience with Google Cloud Platform, covering aspects like Compute Engine, GKE, networking, IAM, DNS, and cost optimization.

  

• Deep hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes architecture, including networking, storage, autoscaling, and upgrades.

• Proven experience in using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm effectively in production settings.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and GitOps frameworks, specifically with Argo CD.

• Familiarity with Linux systems, alongside advanced networking and troubleshooting skills involving TCP/IP, DNS, and TLS.

• Experience with on-call rotations and incident management using tools like PagerDuty.
