The role of a Partner Manager focuses on executing the partner ecosystem strategy, driving partner engagement, and enabling business growth for both partners and customers. This pivotal position supports the execution of sales goals through a complete partner ecosystem, which includes Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Value-Added Distributors (VADs), Service Delivery Partners, and Technology Alliance Partners. By representing the full suite of BeyondTrust’s products, the Partner Manager will be instrumental in fostering opportunities for collaboration and success.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Drive peer-to-peer discussions between partners and BeyondTrust’s SMB Account Executives, acting as a point of contact.
  • Measure, track, and monitor partner-driven opportunities to meet quarterly sales goals.
  • Coach sales teams on effectively engaging ecosystem partners and facilitate introductions at the account and opportunity level.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with partners to assess performance, thus identifying growth opportunities.
  • Deliver sales enablement efforts by supplying partners with product knowledge, marketing materials, updates, and insights to bolster business success.
  • Manage potential channel conflict through effective communication and adherence to channel engagement guidelines.
  • Conduct virtual training, webinars, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance partner capabilities.
  • Proactively lead account mapping initiatives to ensure maximum involvement from partners in opportunities.

What You'll Bring

The successful candidate should come equipped with:

  • Experience: At least 4 years of partner management experience, especially with a focus on software security and working with SMB teams. Having worked as an AE (Account Executive) or Partner Manager with a significant national partner is a plus.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the partner ecosystem in the targeted territory and its dynamics is crucial.
  • Skills: A proven history of establishing lasting business relationships, strategic planning with partners, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue objectives is essential. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary for various levels within partner organizations. This also includes strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pre-existing relationships within the BeyondTrust partner network.
  • Ability to analyze business performance to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Partner Relationship Management systems, along with report-building capabilities.
