Researching and cataloging business information requirements to standardize the usage of third-party reports and data feeds.
Identifying data variances and developing common data models across the firm to reduce discrepancies in master data usage.
Evaluating opportunities to centralize and maintain the enterprise master data efficiently.
Developing and enhancing Master Data Management processes and sharing best practices across various business groups.
Successful candidates for the Master Data Engineer role are expected to have:
Prior experience in the Wealth Management industry, particularly in areas related to assets under management, client households, and custodian records.
A background of 3-5 years in related fields, such as Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Data Modeling, or Data Architecture.
Experience with modeling and implementing master data management processes to achieve quantifiable improvements.
A solid understanding of best practices regarding master data management, including familiarity with the DAMA/EDM framework.
Proficiency with data reporting tools such as PowerBI, SQL Report Services, and Tableau.
An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, promoting best practices while adhering to Agile development methodologies.
