Key Responsibilities

  • Promote benchmarks across Market Areas, including Behavioral Units, Sites, Lines of Business (LOB), and Drivers.
  • Manage Operating Standards Guidelines (OSG) processes, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Work with other departments like Pricing and Sales to evaluate route and customer profitability. You’ll be responsible for coordinating corrective actions where necessary.
  • Coach and implement fundamentals of the Business Improvement Program (BIP) to participate in driving operational excellence.
  • Sketch budget planning analysis, reviewing year-to-date data against projections and previous years.
  • Conduct periodic route reviews to optimize routes while being responsive to volume fluctuations, minimizing labor while maximizing service efficiency.
  • Serve as a super-user post-deployment for the SAP system, assisting local management and users.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required by the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities

You will have the highest level of supervisory responsibility in the position, including:

  • Direct supervision of five full-time employees, such as a Data Specialist I.
  • Indirect supervision of an additional eight full-time employees.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
  • A proven record of four years of experience in roles related to logistics, such as Industrial Engineer, Project Manager, Operations, or District Management.
  • Strong operating experience within the industry.
  • Proficiency in communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • A solid ability to drive process culture change and evaluate processes objectively.
  • Computer literacy, especially with logistic systems is a fundamental asset.
  • Strong analytical skills accompany this role, aiding decision-making and operational adjustments.

Additional Skills and Certifications

While no specific certifications are required, having a background in logistics and project management would significantly benefit candidates. Familiarity with IT logistic systems enhances the likelihood of successful performance in this position.
