The Instructional Content Editor will play a critical role in the development and delivery of health education content aimed at driving positive behavior change. A collaborative approach is essential, as the editor will work closely with clinical experts, designers, and product teams to produce user-friendly and evidence-based materials in various formats, including articles, audio, and video.
In this role, the Instructional Content Editor will undertake the following responsibilities:
Write, proofread, and edit health-focused educational content with well-defined calls to action.
Collaborate with Clinical Leads, Pathway Leads, Graphic Designers, and Product Managers to develop engaging and compliant content.
Transform clinical insights and learning objectives into well-organized, user-friendly materials.
Manage content projects effectively from start to finish while handling multiple priorities and adhering to timelines.
Conduct user needs assessments through interviews, surveys, and research to craft relevant content using instructional design principles.
Brief and manage external contributors including designers and freelancers to ensure content quality.
Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of Oviva’s content development processes and tools.
Candidates for this position should possess the following key skills and qualifications:
Proven expertise in creating evidence-based content pertaining to health or behavioral change.
Exceptional copywriting and editorial abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a native-level command of English.
Familiarity with using generative AI tools to produce content.
A solid grasp of instructional design principles and the educational needs of adult learners.
Proficiency in conducting research to locate reliable sources for health-related information.
Strong project management skills, able to prioritize tasks and deliver projects under tight deadlines.
An empathetic understanding of users’ health challenges, combined with a passion for designing content that effectively addresses their needs.
Quick to learn new tools and platforms, especially those powered by AI technology.
