As an Information Developer, your core responsibilities will include:
Understanding and interpreting product requirements to determine necessary publications while requiring only minor supervision.
Identifying the writing style of the client and composing technical documents that adhere to publication standards (Microsoft, Apple, Chicago).
Estimating documentation development efforts in collaboration with the Project Manager or Head of IDO.
Regularly communicating the status of documentation tasks to ensure timely delivery.
Interviewing subject matter experts to extract relevant information regarding the projects.
Creating documentation templates that will be used across various outputs.
Writing, editing, and creating different types of interface documentation, including installation guides, help systems, and system configuration guides.
Collaborating with the technical team to embed context-sensitive help systems directly into products.
Conducting peer reviews to ensure that all documentation meets required style guides and branding standards.
Following through all stages of documentation development, thereby ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials.
Taking part in continuous development by participating actively in competence development events.
Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their skills enhancement.
