It is a paid full-time position available remotely within Europe, with unique employment contract options available in certain countries like the UK, Spain, Germany, and Estonia. The core responsibilities of this role involve a variety of vital functions, ensuring seamless integration into the company’s operations:
Manage and automate onboarding processes for new hires, including initial HR introduction calls.
Maintain and optimize the HRIS (Humaans) to ensure accurate personnel data and effective reporting.
Update and maintain the Company Handbook, ensuring all information is accurate, clearly communicated, and up-to-date.
Collect and analyze feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives and team engagement strategies.
Assist with payroll processes, collaborating with external payroll providers to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Draft, review, and manage contracts and amendments, contributing to clear engagement protocols.
Support team relations and act as a trusted point of contact for questions, concerns, and support regarding HR matters.
Implement and manage performance frameworks, aiding with goal-setting, evaluations, and bonus systems to promote consistent employee development.
Prepare HR reports, metrics, organizational charts, and dashboards for management review, aiding in strategic planning.
Promote workplace culture initiatives aimed at increasing employee engagement, inclusion, and retention, aligning with Blackwall's core values.
To qualify for this role, applicants must possess several vital skills and demonstrate experience that aligns with the company’s objectives:
Proven experience in people operations or HR roles, preferably within a startup or scale-up environment, to understand the dynamics and growth challenges.
Capability to work fully remote, with an embracing diversity and ensuring a rich team culture.
Familiarity with various employment arrangements, including understanding of contractors, employees, and Employer of Record (EOR) setups.
A good grasp of HRIS systems, with experience in Humaans considered advantageous, along with proficiency in automation and AI-enabled HR tools.
