Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should meet certain educational and experiential qualifications to be considered:

• A higher education background or practical experience in relevant fields such as Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
• A solid understanding of EMC concepts and design principles is essential.
• The ability to manage time effectively to meet defined deadlines and work within budget constraints.
• Familiarity with military EMC standards applicable at the system, subsystem, or equipment level is highly desirable. Examples include Defence Standard 59-41 / 59-411, Mil-Std-461, RTCA DO160, and EUROCAE ED-14.

Employment Information

• Role: Electromagnetic Compatibility Project Engineer
• Salary: Approximately £55,000 plus bonuses and additional benefits.
• Location: Positions are available in Bristol or Stevenage, with a hybrid working model of 2-3 days on-site each week.
• Eligibility: Due to security requirements, candidates must hold British citizenship or be Dual Citizens. Additionally, applicants are subject to security clearance vetting if they are not already cleared to at least SC level (Security Clearance).
