The role involves the following responsibilities: analyzing data to identify patterns and trends that can inform business strategies, developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders, and conducting segmentation analysis to understand different groups and their behaviors. The Specialist will collaborate with teams from marketing, product, and sales to provide data-driven insights and recommendations. Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to satisfaction, retention, and acquisition is also essential. The role includes designing surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to garner feedback, using advanced analytics like predictive modeling and machine learning to forecast behavior and trends, and presenting findings lucidly to senior management and stakeholders. Keeping up with industry trends and best practices in analytics and insights is also a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or similar, accompanied by at least five years of experience in a related field. Proven experience in insights, data analysis, and business intelligence is required. The candidate should have experience with data engineering tools and methodologies, including dbt for transforming and modeling data in data warehouses, and be proficient in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI. A solid understanding of database technologies, including relational databases like MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and data warehousing solutions like Big Query and Snowflake, is necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills for complex information, knowledge of statistical analysis and advanced analytics techniques, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are key qualifications. Attention to detail and organizational skills are also critical.
