Job Description

As a Customer Finance Analyst at Prompt, you will play an essential role in supporting the finance department through various financial and administrative tasks. This position emphasizes managing client-facing financial processes and ensuring efficiency across the company's operations. The role requires a proactive mindset, with the individual closely collaborating with the Customer Finance Lead and various stakeholders within the organization to facilitate seamless financial transactions and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

You will be tasked with several essential duties in this role:

  • Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers timely, ensuring that they comply with company policies and customer agreements. You will monitor outstanding invoices and follow up to ensure prompt payment.

  • Accounts Receivable: Manage the accounts receivable processes, recording and reconciling incoming payments while identifying overdue balances and initiating collection efforts. Maintaining accurate records of all transactions is vital.

  • New Customer Setup: Support new customer onboarding by validating the information collected on customer agreements and setting up new customer accounts in the accounting software. You will also communicate with customers to address inquiries.

  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support through prompt responses to inquiries about invoices, payments, and accounts. Collaborate with other departments to effectively resolve customer issues.

  • Assisting the Customer Finance Lead: Offer administrative support to the Customer Finance Lead, including assistance on various tasks and ad-hoc projects, as well as promoting positive business relationships.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an invoicing or accounts receivable role.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency in QuickBooks, alongside skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
  • Analytical skills with detailed attention, exceptional written communication, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Developed oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, including senior management.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with adaptability to changing priorities.
