Role Responsibilities

Email & Lifecycle Marketing (40%)

  • You will create and manage the complete email and SMS marketing strategy, which includes planning campaigns and automated flows.
  • Develop advanced segmentation and personalization strategies aimed at boosting customer lifetime value (LTV) and enhancing retention rates.
  • Set up and continuously improve several lifecycle marketing programs, such as:

    • Abandoned cart recovery and user education after purchases
    • Loyalty and VIP programs
    • Welcome messaging for new customers as well as onboarding resources

Content Strategy & Development (40%)

  • Own the overall content calendar and ensure synchronization across various platforms, including social media, emails, and landing pages.
  • Craft engaging content that resonates with coffee enthusiasts and café owners; this may include writing scripts, website copy, blogs, and content briefs.
  • You will need to create content pillars that establish authority, such as educational guides, comparison content, and product reviews.

Video Production & UGC/Creator Support (20%)

  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • You will be responsible for capturing product demonstrations and creating UGC-style (User Generated Content) videos, crucial for social media and paid ads.
  • Collaborating with influencer and UGC creators is also a part of this role, ensuring their content is repurposed effectively.

Success in this role will be measured through various metrics:

  • Email and SMS marketing should emerge as the company's top revenue channels.
  • Strong storytelling across channels should effectively elevate the brand.

  • Proficiency in creating diverse types of content, from conversion-focused copy to brand storytelling.
  • Ability to produce and edit video content, particularly short-form material.
  • Familiarity with basic analytics, such as Google Analytics and attribution tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive attitude to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • While management experience isn't necessary, a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects is a plus.
