  • Visiting clients at home to teach competencies and assess any issues, ensuring safety and well-being of both clients and support staff.
  • Completing risk assessments and ensuring the welfare of lone workers.

Work Environment and Schedule

The position requires a home-based work environment but involves travel across a designated region, including locations such as Oxford, Gloucester, Swindon, Reading, Basingstoke, Salisbury, Winchester, and Southampton. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, with availability required for on-call emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for the role, candidates must possess:

  • A current NMC Pin registration, ensuring they are legally allowed to practice in the UK.
  • A full driving license and access to their own vehicle for travel.
  • Skills and knowledge regarding ventilator management and bowel/bladder care.
  • A combination of clinical expertise, leadership skills, ability to work in a close-knit team, and a commitment to mentoring and supporting other staff members.
